A personal message from the CEO of CLEAR Institute to the visitors of this forum:
The CLEAR Community Forum was developed for three reasons:
- to serve as a place for patients who have been treated by CLEAR-certified clinics to post their stories;
- to allow people who may be considering alternative methods of scoliosis treatment to communicate directly with these patients; and,
- to provide a fresh perspective on scoliosis from a biomechanical & functional rehabilitative point of view.
With this forum, we hope to provide you with the opportunity to ask questions of patients who have personally undergone treatment, and of doctors who are experienced in CLEAR Institute's method of scoliosis treatment, so that every voice can be heard.
The focus of CLEAR Institute is simple: to obtain the best possible results for people living with scoliosis. To this end, the Doctors on our Board of Advisors have evaluated dozens of techniques; we have worked with & learned from chiropractors, massage therapists, physical therapists, orthopedic surgeons, and various scoliosis specialists; we have explored thousands of pages of research related to every facet of scoliosis treatment. Demonstrating the effectiveness of our treatment through valid, scientific research is also our highest priority; this is the reason that the CLEAR Scoliosis Treatment and Research Center was founded in Dallas, Texas, right next door to the Research Department of Parker College of Chiropractic, and why we are working together with Parker College to publish long-term research on our protocols.
Our intention is to review everything that anyone has ever done that has achieved positive results in scoliosis treatment; to analyze the theory & science behind their results; and, to incorporate the most effective of these methods into a comprehensive protocol. We then share this information at seminars, workshops, and conferences, without regard for ego or professional benefit. We do not want to promote CLEAR Institute as the premier Scoliosis Treatment Center in the world; we want to empower other doctors to be able to duplicate and even improve upon our results. If you have information to share with us, or would like to ask about our experience with a particular method of scoliosis treatment, please feel free to use this forum to do so.
It is my sincere belief that to truly eradicate scoliosis from our planet will require the combined effort of every member of the healthcare profession. While CLEAR Institute does not endorse surgery & bracing, it is not our intention to disparage those doctors who are only doing what they feel is best for their patients, and we do not dispute the fact that many patients have had positive experiences with these methods. CLEAR Institute’s goal is to open new doors in the realms of scoliosis screening and rehabilitation, and provide scoliosis patients with more options for treatment.
We hope that this forum will serve as a resource for those seeking to learn more, and encourage you to post your stories, comments, and questions. Although offensive & inappropriate comments will be removed, we invite the skeptics and those who have had negative experiences with chiropractors to join in on this forum as well. We sincerely appreciate the opportunity to share our knowledge, and learn from others in turn!
